The first major snow storm came a little late this year – all the way in late December. I helped shovel the driveway and cleared nearly all of the snow. Then the remaining snow melted and froze during the following day, making the driveway one big sheet of ice. Oh well.
I thought I would share two projects that I’ve seen recently and thought were really beautiful. The first is Daniel Naudé’s project on African feral dogs, which I first saw in Aperture magazine. The second is Lauren Marsolier’s nine month project to photograph the Caspian Sea region. Marsolier was featured in the BJP magazine and won their International Photography Award for the project. Gosh they’re both so talented!
